A holistic, big-picture approach to health
A holistic approach means thinking about the big picture. … In a health perspective, holistic refers to addressing the whole person, including their physical, mental, and emotional health, while taking social factors into consideration. A holistic approach considers all possible symptoms and empowers the patient to take charge of their own care.
Our Holistic Services
Drs. Burton and Emma Wagner, DC have intensively studied many chiropractic techniques that they combine to offer you the most comprehensive care. Here is more information on our favorite chiropractic techniques:
Network Spinal Analysis is an advanced, holistic chiropractic approach to healing the spine and nervous system in order to improve your overall level of health and your quality of life.
NSA uses gentle touches (called a Spinal Entrainment) that have been shown to help the central nervous system reorganize and evolve, resulting in easy, pain-free movements created by your body. Instead of pushing on the painful areas, we use this gentle touch to stimulate those parts of your body and nervous system that are open and receptive so that we upgrade how your nervous system functions, which increases how your body functions, improving spinal alignment, and posture to relieve general pain.
Muscle testing, or kinesiology, has grown in popularity over the last 30 years. It’s a simple, non-invasive assessment tool used by many different kinds of health practitioners during examination or evaluation. It’s used to assess many different things – as broad as general health status and as refined as specific supplement dosage, and almost everything in between.
The Bio-Kinetics Health System works with your body’s stress response system in a way that switches off the protective fight-or-flight system and switches on your body’s healing system. This system affects, directly and indirectly, the regulating and controlling system of the body, responsible for all body functions including the digestive, circulatory, hormonal, reproductive, musculoskeletal, immune and nerve systems.
Traditional chiropractic / Structural adjusting
The goal of traditional chiropractic visits are based on movement. Even when the chiropractor talks about alignment, the main goal is still movement, thus the “crack” and “pop” is called a “high velocity, low amplitude thrust”, or in other words, a traditional chiropractic adjustment. Your joint has been moved where it previously was stuck. This resulting movement can be helpful in certain circumstances. Some examples of this that we use in our office are for specific brain stimulation (mostly with pediatrics), and with pregnancy (a little movement into that pelvis can make a world of difference).
We are emotional creatures, and we were born to express emotions freely and openly. Somewhere along the way, however, many of us learned to repress emotions. The unresolved emotions get trapped in our body where they build and fester, draining our energy, leading to burnout, emotional imbalance, and eventually disease.
This unprocessed emotional energy is stored in our organs, muscles, and tissues. It leads to inflammation and chronic health problems, and it undermines our overall well-being.
Our technique taps into your subconscious and allows you to clear emotions from a deep place to experience love and happiness.
